The beginning of a new season. Firstly, you have the fixture release day, a day which supporters all over the country look forward to, regardless of the division. Fixtures and ticket pricing discussions go hand in hand. The release of the ticketing pricing at Leeds United has appeared and it is safe to say that nothing hits home harder than seeing the possibility of forking out a potential £47 to see a recently relegated Leeds United host Cardiff City at 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon, which is also live on Sky.
As we all know, circumstances vary for each individual in this current climate and I think it’s safe to say that football is no longer the ‘working man’s game’. Each game will either be category A or B. The price range varies from £32 – £47. I believe this will be a difficult pill to swallow for many supporters, especially after the football that has been served up at Elland Road for the last two seasons. The club offered season ticket holders a 10% rebate, after relegation was confirmed back to the EFL. Some may say that these prices reflect this and that they could be trying to recoup as much as possible. I can’t see many supporters staying away if Daniel Farke’s men start quickly out of the traps, although crowds may dwindle if the Whites start off slow.
Another huge talking point was the away ticketing prices. Elland Road isn’t the most welcoming of places but I firmly believe 99.9% of Leeds United fans will be in agreeance that it is extortionate. No travelling supporters should be paying £45 – £47 as an adult. This may be about to change for the better though as I have it on good authority that Leeds are willing to charge visiting supporters £25 as long as this is reciprocated for when we visit. This could be a very smart move by the club. They appear to have purposely revealed the away prices at a very high cost, in order to then make other clubs submit to their demands which would certainly be beneficial to the large Leeds United following.
This specific subject often brings out much discussion, what are your thoughts?

An utter disgrace and pricing working class families out of the game . The hierarchy of our club are nothing less than thieves .
They need to re engage with fans and local communities.
I am ashamed of our club and what they have become …For me they can go and f*ck themselves in future as I know what and who are Leeds are . It’s in your heart and soul , nothing will ever take that away ???
