According to a report from Sky Sports News, Karl Darlow from Newcastle United is being heavily linked with Leeds and Bournemouth.
It is reported both clubs have not officially lodged any bids as of yet, but discussions have taken place for the 32-year-old English goalkeeper.
According to FootyStats, as a Goalkeeper, Karl Darlow has conceded 14 goals and kept 5 clean sheets in 12 matches in the Championship 2022/2023 season. That means when Darlow is in goal, his team conceded a goal every 77 minutes. Karl Darlow’s per 90 minutes goals conceded stat is 1.17.
In terms of raw goalkeeping, he’s saved 35 of the 49 shots faced – meaning Karl Darlow’s save percentage is 71.43%.
With the cracks showing in Illan Meslier and an equally hesitant Joel Robles last season, Karl Darlow might just be what the Whites are after to be in with a chance of getting back up to the topflight.
