Leeds United fans have something to cheer about as Largie Ramazani heading to Elland Road.
The 23-year-old attacker from UD Almeria is now on his way to England.
He will be flying over later today for a medical, before completing paperwork and joining up with Leeds within the next 24 hours.
The Deal is Done
Under the deal Leeds United have made with Ramazani, it’s understood they will pay £8 million, with potential add-ons.
There is also a percentage involved in any future transfer, indicating that Leeds have faith in the ability of this player. The contract is set to keep Ramazani at the club until June 2028.
The news has also been confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, the respected transfer expert, with his much-loved phrase and trademark “here we go”.
This deal is now guaranteed and completed.
A Quiet Summer Comes to Life
Leeds United’s summer transfer window has been anything but busy, much to the frustration of fans and manager Daniel Farke. Only Jayden Bogle and Joe Rothwell have joined the club.
In the meantime more than 15 players left the club, and this has caused a number of gaps which need to be filled urgently.
The departure of key forwards such as Crysencio Summerville and Gerginio Rutter have left Leeds a bit lightweight up front.
The signing of Ramazani, who can play as a winger or a striker in the middle, is considered vital to help strengthen the front ranks.
What Ramazani Brings to Leeds
Largie Ramazani is a Belgium winger, renowned for his agility and attacking abilities.
He can play on the wings or center forward, providing Leeds’ squad what seems to be much-needed depth.
His arrival might create competition for places, especially among people like Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto.
However it could end up helping the team out as the new season unfolds.
This makes Ramazani a valuable asset for Leeds, because they are going through tough times and want to return to the Premier League.
His flexibility gives Farke more options upfront, allowing him to fill as much as possible the gap left by the summer’s departures.
A Boost for the Fans
This signing comes as a relief to Leeds United supporters, who have been eagerly waiting for some positive transfer news.
Ramazani’s signature should lift the Elland Road mood and bring to the fans a sense of the transfer window having gone well.
As the transfer window draws to a close, Leeds United’s pursuit of quality new signings like that which they have made with Ramazani underlines the club’s intention to put together a team capable of making the push into the top level.
With a medical scheduled and everything confirmed, Ramazani is now only a matter of time away from becoming another Leeds United player.
Leeds fans will be watching news closely in the next few hours, eagerly awaiting the official announcement of Ramazani’s signing.
This might however be just the right time for a boost as they prepare to face up to the rigours of another Championship season at hand.
