The 28-year-old Brazilian has played for big European clubs such as Valencia, Braga, and OGC Nice, and brings this wealth of experience to the table.
Botafogo are willing to cash in on him now due to the impending expiration of his contract later this year.

Even though Leeds have strong options readily available in midfield, Farke might need to look for one more if Josuha Guilavogui makes a move to Paris FC.
The gap might be effectively filled by Barbosa’s experience and skill, providing a cost-efficient solution to the club.
