Defender Max Wober is to be struck down by a knee problem as he is suffering injury issues, following a calf problem earlier in the season.
Wober was back on the field and played a full 90 minutes with Austria in their recent game against Slovenia.
But he was reported to have sat out in the next match against Norway due to knee issues.
Wober’s Tough Season So Far
The season, however, doesn’t come as easy for Wober.
Having wanted to move on from the Whites in a deal with Gladbach, he remained at Leeds and has struggled to find form.
He was an unused substitute in the Hull game and has featured only once this season, playing for Leeds at Middlesbrough.
Leeds’ Injury Struggles
Suffering injuries has been one of the common themes for Leeds United over recent years.
Meanwhile, Patrick Bamford and Dan James are also ruled out of action further deepening the club’s injury crisis.
It will be just the latest blow for Daniel Farke’s squad, which has made a promising start to the season before being hit by yet more injuries.
Leeds fans will be hoping Wober is soon fit again and ready to help them pursue promotion back to the Premier League.
His versatility and defensive experience could be crucial as Leeds looks to strengthen their squad during this challenging phase.
