It has been reported Marc Roca has reached an ‘agreement in principle’ with La Liga side Real Betis.
This comes as the 26 year-old who has a market value of £10 million hasn’t been very impactful or impressive since Leeds enlisted his services. Achieving only 32 apps, 1 goal, 2 assists during the 22/23 Premier League Campaign overall with 1 app in the EFL cup, it’s hardly something to shout about.
The deal is done according to spanish media outlet Estadio Deportivo, who report the two clubs have reached an agreement in the ‘last few hours’ on a loan deal until next summer, which also includes an option-to-buy at the end of the season.
Roca has been linked with a move to Real Betis almost instantly since Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last month.
With Tyler Roberts going to Birmingham City, this is only the start of many more exits to come so it seems, as the 49s look to rebuild and restructure their starting XI for the upcoming season within the EFL Championship.
