Manchester United have held a long-standing interest in the profile of Dinamo Zagreb star Martin Baturina, aged 21.
They saw him recently in the Nations League, coming off of the bench against Portugal.
United still like the versatile attacker, with reports from Croatia stating that he is “very high” on their transfer list.
Leeds United’s Failed Bid for Baturina
Leeds United were in fact close to signing Baturina earlier this year, with a £25 million bid accepted by Dinamo Zagreb.
Yet Baturina turned down the opportunity to play in the Championship, choosing to remain with his boyhood team for Champions League football.
That, of course with Manchester United now sniffing around looks to have been a wise decision indeed as he lines up his future in the Premier League for one of the biggest clubs in England.
Baturina’s Style and Future Prospects
Baturina has been a key player for Dinamo Zagreb since breaking into the first team in 2021.
Known for his versatility, the young Croatian has drawn comparisons to Luka Modric, with many seeing him as a future star for the national team.
While Dinamo is prepared to offer him an improved contract, Manchester United’s growing interest might lead to a big move to the Premier League.
The football world will be watching to see if the Red Devils make an offer for this talented midfielder.
