It was a difficult transfer window for Leeds United and they finished powerfully with the signing of eight new players.
The likes of Archie Gray and Glen Kamara left the club, but in their place arrived Joe Rodon from Tottenham as well as Alex Cairns and Joe Rothwell.
Jayden Bogle’s arrival from Sheffield United grabbed attention, other new faces this year included Manor Solomon, Largie Ramazani, Ao Tanaka and Isaac Schmidt.
Key Signings
Having some lost key players, Leeds needed to add depth and quality in their squad. Even with that, they were still able to bring in some key pieces.
Joe Rodon, for instance, joined from Tottenham, giving Leeds more defensive options, while Manor Solomon arrived on loan from Spurs, providing more creativity upfront.
Potential Free Agents
Leeds may look to the free-agent market with no attacking midfielder signed.
The likes of Emiliano Marcondes or Iker Muniain are options.
Former Bournemouth man Marcondes would bring midfield cover and versatility, with ex-Athletic Bilbao ace Muniain able to provide a playmaker in the final third should he lower his salary demands.
In general, Leeds fans hope that the new players and any other order to come will help take them back into promotion for their place back to the Premier League.
