In advance of their match against Derby County, the manager of Leeds United, Daniel Farke, has shared important details on the injured players.
The team is focused on a recovery after a close loss against Blackburn Rovers. Many players are back from injury in recovering fitness.
Firpo and Schmidt Close to Comebacks
Junior Firpo will be a doubtful participant against Derby after a knock in training sessions but may be declared fit late on.
Isaac Schmidt has recovered from hernia surgery and has started training but will most likely not start due to a lack of conditioning.
Byram and Ampadu Progress
Sam Byram has not yet made his return due to a hamstring injury, but there is a possibility he could be available next week.
In turn, captain Ethan Ampadu, who has been out of training since September, is fit to train and is looking for a return possibly earlier than the expected mid-December.
Gruev Still Recovering
Ilia Gruev, also dealing with a knee injury, is progressing in his rehabilitation but remains unavailable, with no clear return date yet.
Leeds fans can look forward to strengthened options as the squad recovers, boosting hopes for promotion ambitions.
