Leeds United showed their class again on Monday night, coming from behind to beat Sheffield United 3-1.
It was another huge win for Daniel Farke’s side, putting them five points clear at the top of the Championship.
Slow Start, Big Finish
Leeds didn’t start well. Sheffield United had the better first half, and Leeds struggled to create chances.
The home side got their goal early on, and for over an hour, it looked like they might hold on for a win. But Leeds had other ideas.
Just like they did against Sunderland last week, Leeds turned up in the second half. With 20 minutes left, Junior Firpo got Leeds back in the game.
Then, Ao Tanaka made it 2-1, sending the away fans wild. And in stoppage time, Joel Piroe smashed home the third, sealing a big win for the Whites.

Sheffield United Fans Had Enough
Leeds’ comeback was too much for the home fans. After Tanaka’s goal, many Sheffield United supporters started leaving the stadium early.
BBC reporter Ian Woodcock even pointed it out, saying, “It’s happened again! Bedlam in the Leeds end. Some Blades fans start to head for the exits. Remarkable!”
Chris Wilder will be furious with his team for falling apart in the final 20 minutes.
They had the lead and looked comfortable, but Leeds’ quality showed when it mattered most.
Promotion in Sight for Leeds
Leeds are now unbeaten in 16 league games, and this win takes them a big step closer to promotion.
Farke knows all about getting teams out of the Championship, and right now, his team looks unstoppable.
With just a few months left in the season, Leeds fans can start dreaming of a Premier League return. If they keep playing like this, they won’t be stopped.
