Chris Wilder, the manager of Sheffield United, made an interesting comparison between his team and Leeds United which is their local rival.
Sheffield was able to regain its dominance atop the Championship after managing a draw against West Brom.
Here, Wilder took note to himself that Leeds is a team that is much stronger and much more experienced than his team if they were to be placed on scales.
Sheffield United’s Development
Wilder highlighted that Sheffield are a team who are still coming up, their squad is still maturing at the highest level with the youngest members being relatively fresh in competition at this top level.
While they stand at the top, the Blades are dealing with a rather young and inexperienced side which saw six players under the age of twenty two on the pitch with west Brom.
Wilder stressed that yes Leeds may have a more settled side with more experience but Sheffield has to focus on bettering themselves with time and gaining experience along the way.

Leeds United’s Strong Squad
He pointed out though the Blades managed to earn a valuable point against West Brom why he thought Leeds be the stronger suited side in the season to go on and seek premier league success.
This means Wilder remains hopeful of the team’s development instead saying January would be a more suitable time for squads to change with new members joining.
The Blades’ performance, especially from their younger players, shows that they are capable of competing with stronger sides, and while they are not quite on the same level as Leeds yet, the gap is narrowing.
For Sheffield United, the focus is clear, improve, build, and continue pushing for promotion.
