Leeds United will take on Burnley in a crucial Championship clash on Monday night at Turf Moor.
Both teams are fighting for promotion this season, but Burnley are struggling with a massive injury crisis that could give Leeds the upper hand.
Burnley Missing Five Key Players
Burnley manager Scott Parker has confirmed that five of his players will miss the game against Leeds.
The Clarets are without Enock Agyei, Manuel Benson, Jordan Beyer, Nathan Redmond, and Aaron Ramsey, all of whom are dealing with injuries.
Two players, Aaron Ramsey and Jordan Beyer, have been out for a long time with serious knee injuries.

Ramsey, a 22-year-old attacking midfielder, hasn’t played since February last year. Beyer, a German centre-back, last appeared on the pitch in December 2023.
Manuel Benson, who plays as a winger for Burnley, has been out since tearing his calf in September.
Meanwhile, Nathan Redmond and Enock Agyei, who both recently came back from earlier injuries, have suffered setbacks.
Redmond re-injured his calf in December, and Agyei hasn’t played since November when he featured in Burnley’s 1-0 win over Swansea City.
Parker Gives Update on Injuries
Before Burnley’s midweek win over Plymouth Argyle, manager Scott Parker spoke about the team’s injury struggles.
While some players are showing signs of recovery, they are not yet ready to return to full action.
“Nathan’s training with us now, so is Benny,” Parker said, referring to Nathan Redmond and Manuel Benson. “But they still need a lot more work with the group and more loading.”
Parker also mentioned that Agyei and Ramsey were back on the grass for light training but were still far from match-ready.
“Enock is not training fully with us, but he’s progressing in the right way. Same with Aaron,” he explained.
Leeds Have a Golden Opportunity
This injury crisis at Burnley could play right into Leeds United’s hands. Burnley will have to field a weakened side, which might give Leeds an advantage in this high-stakes game.
A win for Leeds could strengthen their position in the race for promotion.
Fans will be eager to see how Leeds approach this game, knowing their opponents are not at full strength.
The match promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams battle for crucial points in the Championship table.
