Leeds United put on a stunning performance against Watford, securing a 4-0 victory that strengthens their push for automatic promotion.
Daniel Farke’s side dominated at Vicarage Road, with goals from Dan James, Manor Solomon, and Joel Piroe sealing the win. The Whites are now sitting comfortably in the top two, eight points ahead of third-place Burnley.
Here’s a look at how each Leeds player performed on the night:
Illan Meslier – 6
The Leeds shot-stopper had a quiet night as Watford barely tested him. He faced only one shot on target and dealt with it comfortably. His passing accuracy was solid, helping Leeds build from the back.
Jayden Bogle – 6
The right-back was defensively solid but didn’t contribute much going forward. He kept things tight at the back and ensured Watford had little joy down his side.
Joe Rodon – 8
An outstanding performance from the centre-back. He was strong in the air and composed on the ball, playing a key role in Leeds’ buildup. Watford struggled to break through due to his defensive awareness.
Ethan Ampadu – 5
Ampadu had a mixed game. He was fine in possession but struggled defensively compared to his partner Rodon. Playing out of his natural midfield position, he lacked dominance at the back.
Junior Firpo – 7
Firpo was a threat going forward and solid at the back. He provided an assist for Solomon’s goal and looked sharp throughout the game.
Ao Tanaka – 7
A hardworking display from the Japanese midfielder. He constantly won back possession and kept Leeds moving forward with his passes. Substituted late in the game.
Ilia Gruev – 6
Gruev is still recovering from injury, and it showed. He was beaten too often in midfield duels but managed to keep things ticking over in possession.
Dan James – 9
James was the star of the show, scoring twice and causing havoc for the Watford defence. He could have had a hat-trick on another day. His pace and movement were a nightmare for the opposition.

Brenden Aaronson – 7
A lively display from the American midfielder. He created several chances and worked hard defensively, winning back possession multiple times.
Manor Solomon – 8
The Tottenham loanee was brilliant, scoring a goal and providing an assist. His dribbling and link-up play were crucial in Leeds’ attacking moves.

Joel Piroe – 8
Piroe had a fantastic night, scoring a well-taken goal and assisting one of James’ strikes. His movement and finishing were excellent, making life difficult for Watford’s defence.
