Leeds United youngster, Leo Hjelde, set for move to Serie A side Salernitana, due to the Whites relegation last season and he is another player looking at the exit door following a successful campaign in his short season long loan at Rotherham United.
The English born, Norwegian Under 21 international made his Leeds United debut for the club back in January 2022 against West Ham United in the FA Cup in a 2-0 away defeat, followed by the youngest Norwegian player to play in the Premier League a week later against the same opponent; where he claimed his first victory as Leeds went onto win the game 3-2. This was curtesy of three fine finishes from Jack Harrison in an entertaining game for the neutral at The London Stadium.
Leeds United decided for Hjelde to keep progressing after a lack of first team action at Leeds, to loan Leo Hjelde out to Rotherham United, where he went on to make thirteen appearances. Rotherham managed to stay in the Championship and after facing many occasions where Rotherham had been relegated from the Championship to League One like a yoyo, The Millers held their own this time and will face Leeds United this upcoming campaign in the Chamionship for the first time since the 2016/17 Championship season, where the Whites comfortably did the double over the South Yorkshire side under former Manager, Garry Monk.

This lad looked promising. He’s now had a season in the championship, gaining valuable experience. We need to keep him & Creswell.
