Leeds United’s promising young forward Joe Gelhardt looks headed out of Elland Road in January.
The 22 year old who earns £15,000 a week has not played much due to Daniel Farke’s plans as he has played just 72 minutes this season.
His signature is pursued by a number of clubs but a series of them are Rangers willing to sign him on loan.
However, with regard to a temporary switch, Leeds are unsure as to whether they want to lend a helping hand and permit a loan saw.
Gelhardt has had other teams looking at him as well other than Rangers, a number of which are championship clubs which gives the Whites board a lot to consider as January approaches.
Leeds Plan Transfers to Bolster Promotion Push
Sitting second on the Championship table Leeds United have not lost focus of their January transfer window and possible signings that could help them in the chase for promotion.
According to reports the club has been monitoring Khuliso Mudau, a right back from South Africa, as well as Diego Luna, an attacking midfielder from Real Salt Lake.
These two might be able to fill a crucial gap in the team which will strengthen their creativity and depth, especially in the second phase of the campaign.
With promotion at stake, Leeds need to be proactive in getting reinforcements while sorting out Gelhardt’s transfer so that they are in a position to get back the Premier League.
