Leeds United is still eyeing Emi Buendia who is an Argentine international and is in need of more playing time at Aston Villa.
Buendia worked quite well with Daniel Farke while at Norwich City but has recently fallen out of favor under Unai Emery, only starting two matches this season including both in the Carabao Cup.
Following the latest signing of Donyell Malen, Buendia’s chances of regular football appear even slimmer and that means a move in January will be more realistic.
Villa’s Willingness to Sell, but Leeds Hesitant
There’s word going around that Aston Villa are looking to sell Buendia and, according to rumors, contact has already been made about permanent sale options, but United does not wish to act on it as of current status.
A loan with the clause of not paying all of Buendia’s wages looks slightly more realistic but Farke, who knows what kind of player Buendia is, would be willing to sign him for the attacking midfield position to increase depth for Leeds’ squad but due to the financial structure this deal may be inconceivable.
