According to reports, Leeds United are targeting Swedish Daniel Svensson who plays as a left back to come in January.
The 22 year old defender has attracted interest from big clubs such as Manchester United and Liverpool but could be an option for Leeds as they seek to get promoted back to the Premier League.
Currently at Nordsjaelland, Svensson primarily plays as left back but is known for his ability to also operate in midfield.
Carlton Palmer Backs the Move
EFL pundit Carlton Palmer has praised the potential signing, describing Svensson as a “really good addition” for Leeds.
With Junior Firpo’s contract ending next summer, Svensson could seamlessly fill the left-back role while providing additional depth in midfield.
Leeds are looking to strengthen their squad to maintain momentum in their promotion campaign, and Svensson’s arrival might be the boost they need.
